Custom Vinyl Wraps – The big and the small

Sep 23, 2016 | Custom Signs, Custom wraps, Murals, Vehicle Graphics and Wraps, Vinyl Decals, Vinyl graphics, vinyl wraps

By far, the most interesting and fun projects that we have been a part of have been the custom vinyl wraps on the uncommon vehicles (even the non-vehicles). As long as the surface is nice and smooth without too much varying texture, you can probably wrap it! Premium wrap vinyl is becoming more and more versatile, allowing for many different applications on a wide variety of surfaces. Of course, there are limitations. We can’t wrap your dog, sorry!

This project was so much fun and we’re so happy with the finished product. It was definitely a huge undertaking. The concept was simple; to change the grain silo (one of many) into a beer can. Easy enough right? The whole job took 150 yards (that’s 450 feet) of vinyl. As well as 150 yards of lamination to protect the print from the elements. Our printer was running non-stop for four days! The installation took some coordination as well, but we were able to install this monster graphic in only two days!

Another unique non-vehicle custom wrap we’ve done are a few gun safe wraps. Gun safes are actually very practical and easy to apply graphics to. The graphic design, however, was what the focus was on for these wraps. We think the finished “look” is pretty awesome, though!

Speaking of gun safes, we’ve also wrapped a gun! This was actually for the owner of Connecting Signs, Bruce Gardner! The wrap is a solid color-change vinyl in matte army green. According to Bruce, the purpose of the wrap is to provide a little more camouflage when he’s out hunting.

Finally, a fridge wrap! This is a great idea to graphically appeal to your customers when they’re waiting for their order. You can take this opportunity to answer some frequently asked questions, or to display a special! You can be sure that this will attract plenty of attention from customers and potential customers.

There’s so many fun things you can do with vinyl and so many ways to appeal to your audience. Are you interested in a custom wrap? Give us a call or click here to get a quote or a free consultation with our team!
