Our Favorite Signs in 2020: Year in Review
We love our clients and if we could list out all our projects as our favorites, we would! That would be a really long list that no one would want to look at, so we’ve condensed it down to four of our favorite projects from this year. Looking forward to all the awesome things lined up in 2021!
Pedego Front-lit Channel Letters
If you’re looking for a great way to get your brand to stand out, channel letters are the way to go. It’s certainly an investment, but they are worth it. Pedego is a really cool company that manufactures and sells electric bicycles. These channel letters for the Fort Collins location are front-lit and attached directly to the face of the building. This project was a fun one to work through mostly because the finished sign looks so good and stands out so well!
Parking Garage Murals at Colorado State University
For Connecting Signs, this year has been all about environmental graphics. That term encapsulates most interior and exterior graphics and signs that are intended to be permanent. For this project at one of our local universities, Colorado State University, we were hired to provide the digital printing and installation services for one of their new parking garage structures. Installing adhesive vinyl on textured concrete block walls is not easy, so the result is really gratifying for us to reflect on!
Monument Sign Message Center Conversion
If it’s not possible to get channel letters installed directly to your organization’s building, the next best thing may be to look at monument signs. These freestanding signs are unique in many beneficial ways because they’re versatile and they look great. Our friends at the Good Samaritan Senior Living Resort in Water Valley in Windsor, CO contacted us to help them convert the message center from an outdated readerboard marquee to a LED digital message center. This stands out as one of our smash hits of 2020 because this message center can display dynamic content to better serve their community!
Steamy Weiners Food Truck (trailer) Wrap
We do so many vehicle wraps here at Connecting Signs (we love them!), so we just had to include one in our review of 2020. Out of the many types of vehicles that we wrap our favorite is food trucks. Food trucks are fun and exciting, so creating a wrap design for them is a lot of fun! Steamy Weiners (best name for a food truck EVER) came to us looking for a fun and creative trailer wrap. Working with the client through the design process led us to this bright and lively design. We love the color scheme and the hilarious logo – it really stands out!
